The Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset is one of the most popular gaming headsets on the market. Not only does it come with an adjustable microphone, but it also has THX 7.1 surround sound for PC games. The Razer headset is one of the most expensive gaming headsets right now, which makes it more difficult to purchase or recommend to others.
Comparison With Other Gaming Headsets:
The Aula Red headset has a detachable mic and noise cancellation for both game audio and voice chat. It is cheaper than the Razer headset and has fewer features. There are no noise cancellation capabilities in game audio, which may be too distracting when you’re focusing on other things like playing the game or watching videos. The Razer headset only comes with one adjustment for the mic and it is fixed. The Aula Red has two switches; one to turn on noise cancellation and another to turn off voice chat notifications (with the ability to mute the microphone). Both headsets have a 3.5mm audio jack and can be used with mobile devices, but there is no USB connector included in either headset to utilize THX 7.1 surround sound on PC. There are also other features not included in these products such as uni-directional rotating ear pods, rotating designs, or an ergonomic design specific for your head shape/size.
The Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset provides all of its necessary features at an expensive price. It has an adjustable microphone, but there are no other features for noise cancellation. The Razer headset can be used on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, but it does not provide THX 7.1 surround sound or additional connectivity options like USB connectors or an adjustable cable length to the controller connected to your console. It is up to you whether these features are needed by considering what your priorities are when buying a gaming headset!
The Aula Red provides noise cancellation as well as two switches specific for turning off voice chat notifications and muting the mic. In addition, this product has a 3.5mm audio jack which means that it can be used with PC games through a USB connector or with mobile devices through Bluetooth compatibility. You may want to consider if these features are needed/wanted in your gaming headset. You can find more information on the Aula Red here .
Pros And Cons Of Using Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset
The most significant drawbacks of this device are the lack of a USB connector and the absence of THX 7.1 surround sound. The Aula Red provides these features, but it is missing noise cancellation with voice chat notifications.
